Francine Perry is a producer, mixer and recording engineer based in London, working out of Studio Mute in Hammersmith.
In 2018 Francine was awarded the Oram Award by PRS Foundation and the New BBC Radiophonic Workshop celebrating innovation in music, sound and related technologies by the next generation of forward thinking women, based on her productions as La Leif. These have also received plays on BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio 2.
In 2016 Francine co-founded Omnii, a collective aiming to inspire female and non-binary sound enthusiasts to operate in all aspects of music production. They run workshops, events and an online feature series.
Francine has put out 3 solo releases as La Leif is one half of the duo ORKA with whom she has toured in Hong Kong, Greenland, Denmark, Faroe Islands, France and Norway.
